The French Asmodee Group has taken over the Belgian game publisher Repos Production, known for family games such as Time's Up!, Concept, or "Spiel des Jahres 2019" winner Just One, as well as for connoisseur games such as 7 Wonders, Naheulbeuk Dungeon or Cash'n Guns which usually don't last longer than half an hour despite more demanding rules. Repos Production was founded in Brussels in 2004 by Cédrick Caumont and Thomas Provoost and has sold several million games to date. 19 employees and a catalogue of 55 games change hands. Asmodee had been marketing the Repos program since the founding of the Belgian company as a distribution partner in numerous countries. Under the umbrella of the Asmodee Group, the new addition joins more than a dozen other developers such as Fantasy Flight Games, Days of Wonder, Space Cowboys, Zygomatic, Catan Studio, Z-Man Games, Plaid Hat Games, Edge Entertainment, Pearl Games, Ystari or Lookout Games, whose products are sold in over 50 countries.

Repos founder Caumont leaves the company to run his own game publisher Captain Games, also working as a consultant. Provoost, on the other hand, will remain with Asmodee as Studios Coordinator, responsible for bringing the individual developers under one strategic roof by coordinating product ranges and releases.
