The spielbox Special, our annual special issue featuring the fall releases for SPIEL, is now available as a free download. As is tradition, this issue features a presentation of many new games from A to Z that are being released in Essen (another section can be found in spielbox 5/2026), and of course it once again includes the ever-popular checklist (yellow pages) featuring new releases selected by the spielbox editorial team.

The printed special will be distributed free of charge to visitors at all entrances to SPIEL from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and at the spielbox booth (2 A210). It is also available at many hotels in Essen and the surrounding area. Subscribers to the German edition of spielbox will receive the printed special with issue 5/2026. In addition, it is available (only in German language) in our shop for the cost of shipping and a small processing fee.

We hope you enjoy reading it and look forward to seeing you in Essen!
