02.11.2023 - Das Wiener Spielefest wird 2024 mit einem neuen Veranstalter stattfinden: Der bisherige Organisator, das Austria Center Vienna (ACV), übergibt die Brettspiel-Publikumsmesse an die ebenfalls in Wien ansässige Eventagentur Skilled Events and New Media. Diese ist u.a. bekannt als Veranstalterin des A1 Austrian eSports Festival, des größten Ereignisses Österreichs für wettbewerblich ausgetragene Computer- und Videospiele, das seit 2022 einmal pro Jahr im ACV läuft. 2024 wird sich das Wiener Spielefest den Termin mit dem eSports Festival am 15. und 16. Juni teilen und die Ebenen 0 sowie 1 des Austria Center Vienna belegen. Für beide Events wird nur ein Ticket benötigt, im Dezember startet der Vorverkauf mit Rabatt für Frühbesteller. (th)

In 2024, Wiener Spielefest, Vienna's big game festival, will take place with a new organizer: The previous host, Austria Center Vienna (ACV), is handing over the board game fair to the event agency Skilled Events and New Media, also based in Vienna. The latter is known, among other things, as the organizer of the A1 Austrian eSports Festival, the country's largest event for competitively played computer and video games, which has been running once a year at the ACV since 2022. In 2024, Wiener Spielefest will share the date with the eSports Festival on June 15 and 16, occupying levels 0 and 1 of the Austria Center Vienna. Only one ticket is required for both events, presales will start in December with an early bird discount.
