19.07.2023 - Zum letzten Mal vor ihrem Standortwechsel innerhalb der Hauptstadt fand die Berlin Brettspiel Con am 14.-16.7. in der "Station Berlin" statt und meldet einen neuen Besucherrekord: Auf einer Fläche von 12.000 m² versammelten sich mehr als 15.000 Gäste und trafen auf 80 Aussteller. Die limitierte "Badge" mit früherem Messezugang, Sitzplatzgarantie während der "Game Nights" und anderen Boni war laut Veranstalter erstmals ausverkauft, außerdem sei auch der Samstag komplett ausgebucht gewesen. Neben einer kostenlosen Spieleausleihe bot das Ereignis einen Brettspiel-Flohmarkt und eine Lego-Fanausstellung u.a. mit einem lebensgroßen Schachbrett aus Klemmbausteinen. Organisator Johannes Jaeger, in der Szene auch als "Hunter" bekannt, kommentierte: „Unser letzter Auftritt in der Station hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen und hat bewiesen, was für einen Stellenwert die Berlin Con in der Brettspiel-Szene und für die Community hat. Wir sind überglücklich und freuen uns schon auf 2024 in der neuen Location!“

Wie schon früher angekündigt, wechselt die nächste Berlin Brettspiel Con vom 19. bis 21.7.2024 ins Estrel Congress Center, das größte Convention-Hotel Europas. Der Ticket-Vorverkauf dafür startet voraussichtlich kommenden September. (th)

For the last time before its relocation within the capital, the Berlin Brettspiel Con took place on July 14-16 at the "Station Berlin" and reported a new record number of visitors: More than 15,000 guests gathered on an area of 12,000 m² and met 80 exhibitors. Organizer Johannes Jaeger, also known as "Hunter", commented: "Our last appearance at the Station exceeded all expectations and proved what a significance Berlin Con has in the board game scene and for the community. We are overjoyed and already looking forward to 2024 at the new location!"

As previously announced, the next Berlin Brettspiel Con will move to the Estrel Congress Center, Europe's largest convention hotel, from July 19-21, 2024. Advance ticket sales are expected to start next September.
